Happy Spring! Where we are at in Portland Oregon, even though the calendar says it is spring, and the kids are on spring break, the weather has yet to cooperate! Squash Clothing still wants it to be spring, so we have been working on a new women’s tunic top style with a great new spring print to get you in the mood of flowers, green and sun! This new style will be launched in early April so look for it!
This week, we wanted to not only wish you a happy spring, but Squash Clothing loves to highlight companies that do good things for women and children. And the funny thing about that, is the more discussions you have about these great organizations, the more you hear about companies doing great things. A few weeks ago, we highlighted MOJO, a company back east that has their own online fleece products as well doing contract sewing, and employs only single moms. Which, they are branching out and setting up in Florida and San Francisco as well-very cool! So, in talking about this cool organization, I found out that the airline-Jet Blue-Reservation staff is all stay at home moms. When you call to make a reservation, you are actually calling into someone’s home that is able to stay at home with their kids, and work! LOVE IT!
